Aura Cafe, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad

With all the buzz around town about Aura Cafe, my friends and I decided to go for a lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. It’s located in Jubilee Hills, Road No 10, Hyderabad.

This place has a very aesthetically pleasing decor. They have an outdoor seatin as well, at the backyard. Since, it is already Summer in Hyderabad, we chose to sit inside. Also, the ambience is extremely warm and cozy.

You have to enter the restaurant through a mini market. They have organically grown fresh vegetables, different kinds of pastas, nachos, sauces, cheese and a lot more other for sale too. But all the items are sold at an exorbitant price.

The items we ordered were Arabia on A Platter,Veg penne pasta in a creamy mushroom sauce, Spicy Chorizo Spanish Delight Pizza, Pom-peach mocktail, and
Assorted desserts. All the items were extremely tasty but the desserts just stole my heart. Also, this is the best pizza I had till date. Literally, THE BEST in Hyderabad.

ARABIA ON A PLATTER: This dish had a genius presentation. Three dips are provided with pita breads. The quantity of the pita bread isn’t that great but the dips are filling and is served in good amount. The first dip tastes like non-spicy baingan bharta. It has a subtle smokey flavour to it. The second dip, hummus, was very light and had a smooth buttery texture to it. And lastly, the third dip wasn’t actually a dip. It was a tangy/ chaat flavoured, finely chopped vegetables. My favourite was the first dip but all were equally great.

VEG PENNE PASTA: This tasted like any usual, creamy and cheesy pasta. The pastas were perfectly cooked. It had lots of vegetables in it, and the toasted garlic bread which came along with it was also very flavourful. One of the best pastas I have had till date.

SPICY CHORIZO SPANISH DELIGHT PIZZA: This is anyday the BEST PIZZA I had in Hyderabad. So so so good! Each and every flavour of the pizza was like bomb exploding in my mouth, one by one. The base was soft on the inside, and crispy around the edges. Perfectly baked. The sauce was simply yum! Never tasted a sauce like that before. They make their own sauce. So, I guess one needs to visit that place to try out this sauce. They used fresh mozzarella cheese and added spicy chorizo on the top(as ordered from the menu). Even though it has the word ‘spicy’ in its name, the spice is very subtle and mild. The concoction of these items just made the pizza taste heavenly. I remember not talking to my friends as I was totally indulged in savouring my pizza! That’s how food should be, making you speechless!

POM-PEACH MOCKTAIL: Wherever I go, no matter what, ordering beverage is a must for me! Hence, ordered this soothing and refreshing cool drink. It was a delightful drink with fresh, real pomegranate and peach juice in it. But they add a lot of ice in it, which I feel was unnecessary.

ASSORTED DESSERTS: We ordered an assorted platter of desserts. I picked up Berry Mousse, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Raspberry Pannacotta, and Gateaux Opera. The desserts looked as fancy as it sounds ! Each one of them were delicious. The berries were very fresh and the desserts had a moderate level of sweetness. They didn’t overdo it, which was the best part. Make sure to try out their desserts if you happen to visit this place.

The price is a bit on the costlier side, but every item was worth the money.

We’ll surely visit again and wish to try more items from their wide range menu!
